1. El año pasado Juan estuvo en Madrid por unos meses. Last year Juan was in Madrid for a few months.
2. Compartió piso con otros estudiantes y exploró la ciudad con ellos. He shared a flat with other students and explored the city with them.
3. Al recordarlo anteayer, supo que ese tiempo fue muy especial. When he remembered it the day before yesterday, he knew that time had been very special.
4. Durante el verano anterior hizo un voluntariado en una pequeña ciudad. During the previous summer he did some volunteering in a small town.
5. Fue un voluntariado temporal pero él quiso ayudar todo lo que pudo. It was a volunteering opportunity, but he wanted to help as much as he could.
6. Como voluntario puso mucho trabajo en cada proyecto. As a volunteer, he put a lot of work into each project.
7. Se sintió relacionado con la comunidad e hizo mucho. He felt connected with the community and did a lot.
8. La experiencia fue increíble. The experience was incredible.
9. Dijo que ese trabajo temporal fue el mejor de su vida. He said that temporary job was the best of his life.
10. Ahora siempre piensa en ese verano. Now he always thinks of that summer.
