1.	Es mi primera semana en la ciudad y ya empiezo a sentir el cambio.	It's my first week in the city and I already start to feel the change.
2.	Aquí lo común* es muy diferente a lo que estoy acostumbrado.*	Here the usual is very different from what I am used to.
3.	Por ejemplo, es difícil adaptarse* a los horarios de las tiendas.*	For example, it is difficult to adapt to the shop hours.
4.	La mayoría cierra a las seis de la tarde, ¡y yo no me lo esperaba!	Most of them close at six in the evening, and I didn't expect it!
5.	En mi país, las tiendas abren temprano y cierran más tarde.	In my country, shops open early and close later.
6.	Me cuesta entender* por qué todo cierra tan temprano.*	I find it hard to understand why everything closes so early.
7.	Intento adaptarme, pero es raro.	I try to adapt, but it is strange.
8.	En mi país, es común* ir a hacer compras a cualquier hora.*	In my country, it is common to go shopping at any time.
9.	Aunque no sea fácil, me doy cuenta de que cada lugar tiene sus propios valores.	Although it may not be easy, I realise that each place has its own values.
10.	Por eso la adaptación* lleva tiempo, pero estoy aprendiendo poco a poco.*	That's why adaptation takes time, but I am learning little by little.
