Irregular comparatives allow for comparisons without 'más' or 'menos'. They are used with nouns and express quality, size, or age.

- Better and worse compare quality: 'Este safari es mejor.'
- Mayor and menor indicate size or age: 'El león es mayor.'
- They don't need 'más' or 'menos' before the adjective.

Exceptions!
- In comparisons, más is not used with these adjectives.
- 'Mayor' and 'menor' can indicate age and size.
- 'Mejor' and 'peor' compare quality or performance.
