- We use the preterite tense to talk about actions that were completed in the past.
- To form the pretérito indefinido of regular verbs ending in "-ar", the endings are added: "-é, -aste, -ó, -amos, -asteis, -aron".
- For verbs that end in "-er" and "-ir", add the endings: "-í, -iste, -ió, -imos, -isteis, -ieron".
