  1. With the affirmative imperative we attach the indirect object pronoun "me, te, le, nos, os, les" to the verb.
  2. With the negative imperative, we place the indirect object before the verb.
  3. We form the imperative for "tú, usted, vosotros, ustedes."

Exceptions!

  1. With the affirmative imperative, it is sometimes necessary to add an accent. Example: "Pídele".

1. Comunicarse (vosotros, a nosotros):

2. Explicar (vosotros):
... a vuestros compañeros cómo ser más flexible y solidario.
(Explain to your classmates how to be more flexible and supportive.)
3. Ayudar (tú, a ella):
... a ser más creativa.
(Help her to be more creative.)
4. Dar (tú):
... nuevas ideas al equipo para trabajar mejor en el proyecto.
(Give new ideas to the team to work better on the project.)
5. Enviar (tú, a mí):
No ... esto, por favor. Ya lo tengo.
(Don't send this to me, please. I already have it.)
6. Enviar (tú):
:... algo a los compañeros para ayudarles.
(Send something to the colleagues to help them.)
7. Explicar (tú):
... tus ideas a tus compañeros, la comunicación es muy importante en el equipo.
(Explain your ideas to your colleagues, communication is very important in the team.)
8. Pedir (vosotros):
... a vuestros compañeros mejor comunicación.
(Ask your classmates for better communication.)
