Conversation

1. Pedro: ¿Has visto mi agenda? ¡Hoy me toca dirigir otra reunión! (Have you seen my diary? Today I have to lead another meeting!)
2. Ana: Si diriges como vendes mejor que los participantes traigan café para no dormirse. (If you chair like you sell it's better to have the participants bring coffee so they don't fall asleep.)
3. Pedro: ¡Qué profesional eres! Pero admito que tu propuesta esta mañana fue peor que la mía. (How professional you are! But I admit that your proposal this morning was worse than mine.)
4. Ana: ¡Para nada! Si el cliente prefiere la contrapropuesta sería muy sorprendente. ("Not at all! If the client prefers the counterproposal it would be very surprising.")
5. Pedro: Te aconsejo que te reúnas más con el equipo para practicar tu forma de hablar. (I advise you to meet more with the team to practice your way of speaking.)
6. Ana: Y sería mejor que tú seas más productivo y prepares mejor tus ejemplos. (And it would be better if you were more productive and prepared your examples better.)
7. Pedro: Vale, tienes razón. Es importante que todos en la conferencia entiendan mis puntos. (Alright, you are right. It's important that everyone at the conference understands my points.)
8. Ana: Sí, y es necesario que tú lo dirijas de forma más profesional para poder tomar una decisión. (Yes, and it is necessary for you to direct it more professionally in order to make a decision.)
9. Pedro: Pues recomiendo que dirijamos juntos la próxima conferencia. (Well, I recommend that we lead the next conference together.)
10. Ana: Bien pero prométeme que será más profesional que hoy. (Alright but promise me it will be more professional than today.)
