Hace muchos años, enviar cartas era muy importante en España. El servicio postal español llamado Correos existe desde hace más de 300 años. Correos envía cartas y paquetes. Anteriormente, la gente usaba cartas escritas a mano para comunicarse. Muchas veces las cartas no llegaban rápidamente a sus destinarios. Hoy se puede mandar un email, pero algunas personas todavía prefieren enviar cartas porque es más personal. Por eso la gente se alegra que todavía reciban cartas. Pero tienen que esperar más tiempo hasta que lleguen. El email llega más rápido pero es menos personal.
Translation
Many years ago, sending letters was very important in Spain. The Spanish postal service called Correos has existed for over 300 years. Correos sends letters and parcels. Previously, people used handwritten letters to communicate. Often, the letters did not reach their recipients quickly. Today, you can send an email, but some people still prefer to send letters because it is more personal. That is why people are pleased that they still receive letters. But they have to wait longer for them to arrive. The email arrives faster but is less personal.
