El tren de alta velocidad: el AVE de España

The AVE is the high-speed train in Spain. It is famous for its speed and has connected cities like Madrid and Barcelona since 1992.

Con el AVE se puede ir a desde Madrid hasta Barcelona en dos horas y media. Muchas personas lo cogen para viajar por España. Algunas personas prefieren coger el AVE en lugar del autobús. El AVE, then Alta Velocidad Española, is one of the most used means of transport in Spain. The AVE is a very fast train. With the AVE, you can go from Madrid to Barcelona in two and a half hours. Many people take it to travel around Spain. Some people prefer to take the AVE instead of the bus. Other people prefer to drive a car. It is faster to take the AVE to visit Andalusia, for example Seville or Cordoba, than to drive a car.
