- Adverbs of manner are words that describe how an action is performed.
- They are formed by adding the suffix "-mente" to the feminine form of an adjective. Example: "Rápido --> Rápidamente."

Rápidamente (Quickly) | Rápida + mente | Toma el medicamento rápidamente. (Take the medicine quickly.) |

Bien (Well) | Adverbio simple | El doctor me ayuda bien. (The doctor helps me well.) |
Mal (Badly) | Adverbio simple | El enfermo se siente mal. (The patient feels bad.) |
Con cuidado (Carefully) | Expresion adverbial | El doctor ayuda con cuidado. (The doctor helps carefully.) |
Exceptions!
- Additionally, there are simple adverbs that do not have the ending "-mente". Example: "Bien."
- There are also adverbial expressions. Example: "Con cuidado."
